PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an importance level predicting system, an importance level predicting program and an importance level predicting method that make possible prediction of the importance level of information explaining a given object of evaluation for the evaluation of the object.SOLUTION: An importance level predicting apparatus 300 is provided with an acquiring unit 340 that acquires observed value data associating with one another information for identifying a person, information for identifying an object of evaluation, information representing an evaluated value of the object of evaluation by the person or representing an evaluated value of the object of evaluation held by the person, and explanatory information explaining the object of evaluation. The importance level predicting apparatus 300 is also provided with an estimating unit 353 that expresses probability variables representing the importance level of the explanatory information in a probability variable representing characteristics of a person and a probability variable representing the characteristics of the explanatory information, and estimates parameters representing the moduli of a prior probability distribution to which the probability variable representing characteristics of the person and the probability variable representing the characteristics of the explanatory information are subject by using the observed value data.
