PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amphiphilic molecule aggregate which has higher stability and enables size control.SOLUTION: The amphiphilic molecule aggregate with a polycyclic aromatic skeleton includes an amphiphilic molecule with a structure represented by formula (1) as a constituent unit and is formed by spherically aggregating amphiphilic molecules by hydrophobic interaction of a ring 1 and a ring 2 and - interaction. In the formula, the ring represents a monocyclic aromatic molecule, and the ring 1 and the ring 2 represent a polycyclic aromatic molecule; the ring 1 and the ring 2 are mutually arranged in meta-positioned relation, and each surface is combined with the ring to intersect the face of the ring ; when n is 1, R is a hydrophilic group, when n is 2 or more, a plurality of R's are a hydrophilic group or a hydrogen atom, and at least one R is a hydrophilic group; and X is a hydrophobic group or a hydrogen atom.
