P To provide a personal digital assistant and a method and a PROGRAM for superimposing and displaying a corresponding alternative object instead of an original object to be viewed. PSOLUTION: The personal digital assistant 10 stores alternative object data showing the alternative object corresponding to the original object to be viewed that is included in a medium 11 and alternative object display position data showing a display position of the alternative object in a storage means 102 after relating them to each other. An original object position acquiring means 101 acquires original object position data showing a position of the original object in the medium 11 that is superposed and printed ON the original object in the medium 11. Based ON the original object position data acquired by the original object position acquiring means 101, the alternative object data stored in the storage means related to the corresponding alternative object display position data is read and the alternative object is superimposed and displayed ON an alternative object display means 103 instead of the original object.
