PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating methylacetylene from hydrocarbons having three carbon atoms except methylacetylene, or the like.;SOLUTION: This separation method includes: a first step of simultaneously bringing a ligand polymer having a pillared layer structure containing a ligand represented by general formula (1) (in formula, X¹ and X² each independently represents H, a halogen atom or a methyl group) and a metal ion into contact with methylacetylene and hydrocarbons having three carbon atoms except methylacetylene; and a second step of separating based on the difference of retention capability of the ligand polymer for each of the gasses under identical conditions of pressure and temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
