PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for capturing flying insects, which excellently attracts and captures flying insects such as flies, hornets etc., and yet does not provide a user with an unpleasant feeling. PSOLUTION: The device for capturing flying insects is equipped with an attracting guide body 2 having a black surface wall part 1 directed in the vertical direction and a capturing port 8 that is positioned at a lower part and at the upper part of the attracting guide body 2. Flying insects such as flies, hornets etc., are attached by the black surface wall part 1 in the attracting guide body 2, touched down on the surface wall part 1, the flying insects such as flies, hornets etc., touched down on the surface wall part 1 are guided upward along the surface wall part 1 and the flying insects are captured inside the capturing port 8 arranged at the upper part of the attracting guide body 2.
