PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiglare film having excellent visibility when used in an image display unit and excellent dimensional stability of the antiglare film even under a severe environment such as an outdoor environment and also having excellent interlayer adhesion between a base film and an antiglare layer, a method for manufacturing the antiglare film, a polarizer equipped with the antiglare film, and an image display unit.SOLUTION: An antiglare film comprises an antiglare layer including an active ray curing resin at least on one surface of a base film. The antiglare layer has projections irregularly arranged with respect to the surface of the base film and each having an irregular shape in a longitudinal direction of the antiglare film. A projecting portion and a non-projecting portion are made up of a continuous phase of the active ray curing resin or a resin having compatibility with the active ray curing resin, and the internal haze of the base film is 2.0%-55.0%.
