PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection preventing body which has sufficiently high optical transparency and can bond other members onto a reflection preventing layer side with high adhesive force, and to provide an electrostatic capacity type touch panel and a display device with an electrostatic capacity type touch panel which are provided with the reflection preventing body.SOLUTION: In a reflection preventing body 10 which has a transparent base material 12, a hard coat layer 14 provided on the transparent base material 12, and a reflection preventing layer 16 provided on the hard coat layer 14, a water contact angle of a surface 16a on the opposite side to the transparent base material 12 in the reflection preventing layer 16 is 90° or less, and the content of Si derived from an inorganic silicon-containing compound in the elementary composition of the surface 16a measured by ESCA is 3-30 atom%. An electrostatic capacity type touch panel and a display device with an electrostatic capacity type touch panel are provided with the reflection preventing body 10.
