PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area representative word display device capable of displaying representative words of a designated area in a good visual recognition state, an area representative word presentation method, and a program.;SOLUTION: An area representative word display device receives designation of an area (attention area) to display representative words via a mobile phone 30 and a server 50; acquires document information containing location information which shows locations included in the attention area; extracts representative words from the document information according to predetermined rules; receives, when the number of extracted representative words exceeds a prescribed threshold value, selection designation of any of the representative words; and displays a map of the area. When the number of the extracted representative words is equal to or less than the threshold value, predetermined presentation information is displayed on the map in locations shown by all pieces of the location information contained in the document information containing the representative words. When the number of the extracted representative words exceeds the threshold value, the presentation information is displayed on the map in locations shown by the location information contained in the document information containing the representative words selected by the received selection.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
