PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll ironer capable of attaining excellent finish and surely carrying laundry even when the length, tension or pressurizing force of a pressurization belt is changed or various conditions regarding the laundry are changed.;SOLUTION: The roll ironer includes rotating heating rolls 11 and 12, the pressurization belts 18 and 20 put around the outer side of the heating rolls 11 and 12 so as to be in press contact with the heating rolls 11 and 12, a motor 21 for generating drive force, and transmission means for transmitting the drive force from the motor 21 to the pressurization belts 18 and 20. By imparting the drive force transmitted by the transmission means to the pressurization belts 18 and 20, circulating the pressurization belts 18 and 20 by the drive force and carrying washed laundry while clamping it between the heating rolls 11 and 12 and the pressurization belts 18 and 20, the laundry is dried and stretched.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
