PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable characteristic evaluation due to internal pressure, in particular, pressure fluctuation of a body to be tested with high accuracy. PSOLUTION: An internal pressure testing device includes: a cylindrical body to be tested 10 formed in air tightness; a pressure adjusting cylindrical body 20 arranged inside the cylindrical body to be tested 10 and having one end side in a cylindrical direction opened so as to communicate with a space in the cylindrical body to be tested and the other end side enclosed; a pressure adjustment piston 22 capable of reciprocating along a cylindrical direction in the pressure adjusting cylindrical body 20; a gas injection part (hydrogen pipe 30, hydrogen path 31) provided in the cylindrical body to be tested 10 so as to communicate with the space in the cylindrical body to be tested 10; and a sound wave sensor (AE sensor 40-1 to 40-8) for detecting a propagation sound wave in the cylindrical body to be tested, can set or change internal pressure loaded to the cylindrical body to be tested by the reciprocation of the pressure adjustment piston, and can perform an internal pressure test with high accuracy by giving exact pressure or pressure fluctuation to the cylindrical body to be tested.
