PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo security system for detecting an abnormal state of a cargo to be transported/conveyed and efficiently securing the cargo.;SOLUTION: A portable read terminal is provided with: a read means for reading the cargo identification information of a cargo to be secured and terminal identification information; and an identification information transmission means for transmitting the identification information to a monitoring center. A cargo loading terminal is provided with: an instruction reception means for receiving a security start instruction or a security end instruction from the monitoring center; and a security information notifying means for notifying the monitoring center of security information related to the cargo to be secured and ending the security of the cargo to be secured when receiving the security end instruction. The monitoring center is provided with: an identification information reception means for receiving the cargo identification information and the terminal identification information; an identification information storage means for storing the cargo identification information in association with the terminal identification information, a security information reception means for receiving security information; and an instruction transmission means for transmitting the security start instruction or the security end instruction to the cargo loading terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
