PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring information under unconsciousness which give no physical/mental stress on a subject while suppressing introduction cost and maintenance cost. PSOLUTION: The method is used for constructing a prediction model of preference by using brain activity information measured at a specified area. The specified area is one of an auxiliary part B which has a vertical width of 10% from the bottom to 30% from the top of a distance between Nz and Cz when the direction from Fpz to Cz according to the ten-twenty electrode system of International Federation is set as the upper side and a horizontal width of almost 4% each of the distance between T3 and T4 from Fpz in the directions of T3 and T4, an auxiliary part C1 which has a vertical width of 10% of the distance between Nz and Cz from the bottom when the direction from Fpz to Cz is set as the upper side and a horizontal width of 10% each of the distance between T3 and T4 from Fpz in the directions of T3 and T4, and an auxiliary part C2 which has a vertical width of 7.5% to 20% of the distance between Nz and Cz in the direction from Fpz to Cz and a horizontal width of 7.5% to almost 20% of the distance between T3 and T4 in the direction from Fpz to T3.
