PSOLUTION: The method for detecting the DNA-fragmented apotosis cell has the step (a) for performing nucleus dyeing using a double stranded nucleic acid dyeing agent and TUNEL dyeing with respect to one or a plurality of the cells fixed to a cell observing container, the step (b) for imaging the cells dyed in the step (a) to acquire the double stranded nucleic acid dyed image and TUNEL dyed image of each cell, the step (c) for analyzing the acquired double stranded nucleic acid dyed image to discriminate whether the nucleus of each cell in the image is fragmented, the step (d) for analyzing the acquired TUNEL dyed image to discriminate whether the DNA chain of each cell in the image is cut, and the step (e) for detecting the cell, of which the DNA chain is discriminated to be cut in the step (d), being the cell of which the nucleus is discriminated to be fragmented in the step (c), as the DNA fragmented cell.
