PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid probe that dispenses with the preparation of an expensive fluorescence-labeled nucleic acid probe for each target nucleic acid. PSOLUTION: The nucleic acid probe set comprises: a fluorescent probe (A), containing an oligonucleotide containing a nucleotide (a) labeled with a fluorescent material and: a binding probe (B), comprising oligonucleotide having a fluorescent probe binding region (b1) hybridizing with the fluorescent probe (A) and a target nucleic acid binding region (b2) hybridizing with a target nucleic acid (C); wherein the probe is designed, in such a manner that guanine in the target nucleic acid (C) interacts with a fluorescent material (d), labeled on the nucleotide (a) for varying the fluorescent characters of the fluorescent material (d), when the fluorescent probe (A) is hybridized with the fluorescent probe binding region (b1), and the target nucleic acid (C) is hybridized with the target nucleic acid binding region (b2).
