PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix desired and instructed print setting under a prohibition rule.;SOLUTION: A computer is disclosed, which processes the print setting in a printer driver which generates data to be transmitted to a printer 214 which is one example of a printing device to be printed. Then, a prohibition rule which defines prohibition of the print setting is stored in an external storage device. Then, fixation of the print setting is instructed using a user interface and an XML file of the printer driver. Furthermore, a configuration module increases priority of the prohibition rule concerning the print setting whose fixation is instructed more than former priority.
