PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for creating a seaweed bed comprising employing seaweed seeds and seedlings for transplantation which can be easily attached to variously shaped creation structures such as artificial fish beds or covering blocks so as to rationalize workability and increase the fixing ratio of the seeds and seedlings.;SOLUTION: The method for creating a seaweed bed comprises employing seaweed seeds and seedlings 1 formed so that small seaweed alga bodies 5 adhere to the head part 3 of a synthetic resin binding band 4 which holds a belt-like part 2 on one surface side of which sawtooth projections are formed and which can be curved in a loop-like shape, with the box-like head part 3 having a catching nail in its inside so as to be in a loop-like shape. The seaweed seeds and seedlings are put around hooks 12 of a creation structure 10 utilizing loop state-maintaining function of the binding band 4 to be attached. The small seaweed alga bodies 5 grow into adult ones on the creation structure 10, and circumferentially disperse zoospores and the like so as to create the seaweed bed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
