PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring degradation level of oil and fat, in which an optical system is miniaturized. PSOLUTION: The device for measuring degradation level of oil and fat 1 includes: an LED 20 as a light irradiation means for irradiating a light to a coloring unit SA which generates different coloring according to the degradation level of absorbed food oil; a light receiving element 26 as a first light receiving means for receiving the reflected light irradiated from the LED 20 and reflected from the coloring unit SA; a control unit 9 having a calculation unit for determining the degradation level of the food oil absorbed in the coloring unit SA based on the first comparing information as a predetermined information and the first measured information; and a display unit 7 as a display means unit for displaying the degradation level of the food oil determined by the calculation unit.
