PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-in-disc brake which suppresses the intrusion of water.;SOLUTION: In a drum-in-disc brake equipped with a brake disk connected to an opening end of a brake drum, a backplate fixed so as to face the opening of the brake drum consists of a flange part inserted into a recess formed in vehicle-side base end of the brake disk, and a water guide part for preventing the propagation of water to the flange part.
