PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide emulsion having more than equivalent good stability of pigment compatibility to that of vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion in the case of using it as a coating having a so-called high pigment-blending ratio (PVC: usually 75 to 95%) such as putty for interior and exterior uses, a filler material, a coating material for substrate conditioning, an under coating material or a second coating material of a finish coating material in construction, a coating material for a ceiling board, etc.;SOLUTION: This acrylic copolymer emulsion for the interior and exterior coating is provided by performing an emulsion polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer mixture containing a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester, an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an amide group-containing acrylic monomer by using an anionic surfactant, preferably the anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
