P To provide a signature method which is a digital signature method to a group element message wherein signature length is short, calculation amount of a verification formula is smaller, high security can be proved, conventional restriction in a message is eliminated and a signature can be generated to any arbitrary message. PSOLUTION: In a signature and verification system and a bilinear map composed of different groups is used to assume that mapping from a group GSB1/SBto a group GSB2/SBis difficult.
