PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control device for a two-phase AC rotary machine that improves a voltage utilization ratio when applying an AC voltage to a two-phase AC rotary machine by using a power conversion part having a three-phase arm.;SOLUTION: A power conversion part 1 drives switching elements 2, 3 of a U-phase arm, respectively connected to one end a of a first winding of a two-phase AC rotary machine 9, and switching elements 4, 5 of a W-phase arm, respectively connected to one end b of a second winding, by control signals Su, Sv output by a switching-signal calculation part 10. The switching-signal calculation part 10 generates at least either of the control signals Su, Sv once or more in a fundamental-wave period of inter-line voltage commands Vac*, Vbc* respectively showing an inter-line voltage to be applied to the two-phase AC rotary machine 9 such that a signal level of a binary signal is fixed at the same level for a period of time longer than a carrier period.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
