PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improvisation assist system of an electronic keyboard instrument that even a player having little music knowledge or experience can realize advanced pseudo performance expressions with simple key touch operations.;SOLUTION: In this system, when operating a plurality of keys in a keyboard 5K having a plurality of white keys and black keys at the same time (M1), a key touch pattern corresponding to a distribution state of the operated white key/black key is determined out of a plurality of key touch patterns P1-P16 to be predetermined based on plural input tones Nip due to the simultaneous operations of the plurality of keys (M3b), and a type corresponding to the judged key touch patterns P1-P6 is decided out of a plurality of types of harmonization functions (M3c). Then, the plurality of input tones Nip are converted into a desired chord Nop by executing the harmonization function instructed by the decided type (M3d).
