P To improve the quality of bunched sheets subjected to binding treatment by reducing poor alignment of the sheets whose lengths are non-uniform or which are in a curled condition during the binding treatment of the bunched sheet. PSOLUTION: This sheet processor includes an end face binding treatment tray ON which the carried sheets are stacked, a clamping roller for contacting the surfaces of the sheets stacked ON the end face binding treatment tray to make the sheets abut ON a rear end fence to be aligned in a sheet carrying direction, a front end stopper for abutting ON the front ends of the sheets to make the sheets abut ON the rear end fence to be aligned and a stapler for subjecting the bunched sheets aligned ON the end face binding treatment tray to binding treatment. When using the end face binding stapler for subjecting the bunched sheets aligned by the clamping roller or the front end stopper to binding treatment and it holds the bunched sheets between the front end stopper and the rear end fence (S116 and S117) and executes the binding treatment of the sheets being held therebetween.
