Image Processing Technology in the Systems for Quality Control of Sheet Metal Roll

摘要

The problems of designing optoelectronic quality-control systems are considered using as an exam-ple systems for the detection and classification of visible surface defects of sheet metal roll. The structure, work-ing principles, and features of such systems are presented. The stages of defect detection and classification are characterized and basic approaches to their practical realization are proposed.
