PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic raw water denitrification method including a scale prevention for preventing the production of scales in a nitrification tank in a denitrification method adopting a nitrous acid type nitrification process.;SOLUTION: The method for denitrification of the organic raw water includes the nitrous acid type nitrification process, in which the organic raw water 10 containing ammonia nitrogen is introduced into the nitrification tank 4 and the ammonia nitrogen is oxidized to nitrite nitrogen by action of ammonia oxidizing bacteria, and a denitrification process, in which effluent 12 from the nitrification tank is denitrified. In this denitrification process of the organic raw water, a pretreatment process for carrying out flocculating sedimentation of a part of phosphorus components in the organic raw water is provided at the pre-stage of the nitrification tank 4, then the concentration product of phosphoric acid, the ammonia nitrogen and magnesium in influent into the nitrification tank 4 is suppressed to ≤8×10^-8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
