PSOLUTION: The bending optical waveguide structure 24 is for optically coupling a light emitting part 22 and an optical fiber 23 or for optically coupling a pair of optical fibers 23. The structure includes: a light transmissive block 28 which is formed in a shape almost constituting one of a plurality of axially split parts of a column; and an optical waveguide 29 which is integrated and homogeneous in material with the circular-arcuate face 30 of the block 28 which projects from the circular-arcuate face 30 to extend in the circular-arcuate direction and which has a projected cross section.
