PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold assembly for injection compression molding for manufacturing injection compression molded products and a method of injection compression molding using it.SOLUTION: The mold assembly for injection compression molding includes: a first pressurizing part 1; a first mold 3 installed in the first pressurizing part 1; a second pressurizing part 5 arranged opposite to the first pressurizing part 1 and moved by a driving means; a second mold 7 formed in the second pressurizing part 5 and arranged opposite to the first mold 3; a space securing member 11 positioned on one side of the second mold 7 and installed in the second pressurizing part 5 to come into close contact with one face of the first mold 3; a supporting part 13 for pushing the space securing member 11 toward the first mold 3; and a resin injecting part 9 formed in the first mold 3 for filling resin into a cavity formed by the first mold 3 and the second mold 7 which are joined together. While the first mold 3 and the second mold 7 come into close contact and the resin filled in the cavity is compressed, a gate 19 is cut by the first mold 3 and the second mold 7.
