PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optimizing calibration maps for an algorithm of estimation of a control quantity of an internal combustion engine.;SOLUTION: A method for optimizing a plurality of calibration maps M_n for an algorithm of estimation of a control quantity P_ctr of an internal combustion engine is described. Each of the maps comprises a plurality of calibration values P_clb of the control quantity P_ctrs estimated by the algorithm.
