PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building which can be arranged on a foundation having steps, and a construction method of the unit building. PSOLUTION: Four lower story building units 3 and four upper story building units 5 are arranged on a higher flat part 2H of the foundation 2 having the steps, and two lower story standard building units 31 and two upper story building units 5 are arranged on a lower flat part 2L thereof. A side face connecting panel 92 and a ceiling connecting panel 93 are arranged on a slope 2S to connect the building units 3, 5 on the higher flat part 2H to the building units 31, 5 on the lower flat part 2L. Consequently, on the foundation 2 having the slope 2S, a space above the slope 2S can be used and a continued space from the higher flat part 2H to the lower flat part 2L via the slope 2S can be formed by connecting the building units 3, 31, 5 with the side face connecting panel 92 and the ceiling connecting panel 93.
