PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel for plastic molding mold which is more excellent in the productivity of steel than the conventional steel kind and obtains the molding mold excellent in wear resistance, mirror polishing property and corrosion resistance, and to provide a plastic molding mold using the steel.;SOLUTION: The steel for plastic molding mold contains, by mass, 0.350-0.570% C, 0.10-0.50% Si, 0.10-1.00% Mn, 0.05-0.20% Cu, 0.05-0.30% Ni, 10.00 to 14.00% Cr, 0.20% Mo, 0.01-0.10% V, 0.080-0.150% N, 0.0100% O, 0.0500% Al, 0.500-0.650% C+N and the balance substantially Fe with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
