PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel for plastic molding mold which is excellent in the balance of thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and hardness in comparison with the conventional steel type.;SOLUTION: The steel for plastic molding mold contains, by mass, 0.22-0.35% C, 0.01-0.40% Si, 0.10-1.20% Mn, ≤0.030% P, 0.05-0.20% Cu, 0.05-1.00% Ni, 5.0-10.0% Cr, 0.10-1.00% Mo, 0.50 to 0.80% V, 0.01-0.2% N, ≤0.0100% O, ≤0.050% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
