PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation unit which can control the ultraviolet irradiation without using a linear encoder.;SOLUTION: The ultraviolet rays irradiation unit includes an ultraviolet light source 12 which emits an ultraviolet rays, a shutter 13 which is installed in the direction of ultraviolet rays irradiation of the ultraviolet light source 12 and changes the ON/OFF of the ultraviolet rays irradiation, an acceleration sensor 17 which detects the acceleration of the ultraviolet light source 12, a positional information acquisition section which acquires the positional information of the ultraviolet light source 13 from the acceleration information detected by the acceleration sensor 17, and a shutter control section which controls the ON/OFF of the ultraviolet rays irradiation by operating the shutter 13 from the positional information acquired by the positional information acquisition section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
