PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selecting device capable of selecting an item without a mistake in a selection screen displayed on a display part of a game machine or the like provided with a touch panel.;SOLUTION: The selecting device 300 includes a display part 301 that can display a plurality of selectable items on the screen, a reception part 302 for receiving a selecting instruction input specifying one of the displayed selectable items from a user, and an output part 303 for outputting the item specified by the received selecting instruction input as a selected result by the user.
