PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device capable of collecting target magnetic particles on a sensor efficiently, and to provide a detection method of the magnetic particles using the sensor device and a detection method of target substances. PSOLUTION: The sensor device is configured by using a sensor element including functions as a magnetic field sensor and capable of generating the magnetic field for collecting magnetic particles on a sensor surface by the application of current. As a result, the sensor device can be provided which can effectively collect the magnetic particles serving as a label on the sensor, and at the same time, can reduce the influence given to the sensor by the magnetic field for collecting the magnetic particles.
