PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shield woven fabric with an enhanced electromagnetic wave shield performance which can be woven with a weaving machine the same as a common woven fabric, by making the area ratio of exposed metal wire and conductive carbon fibers on the surface of the electromagnetic wave shield woven fabric as large as possible. PSOLUTION: The mixed yarn 2 composing a warp yarn of the electromagnetic wave shield woven fabric 6 is formed by Z-twisting (4a) and S-twisting (4b) a stainless steel wire 4 with a diameter of about 80 m, on a bundle 3 of a plurality of polyester fibers, and carbon fibers 7 used as a weft yarn. The stainless steel wire 4 has high elasticity since it is obtained by twisting with nylon fibers 3 of required size as a core, and the mixed yarn 2 has sufficient strength and flexibility, and can be woven to woven fabric with a common weaving machine. The electromagnetic wave shield woven fabric 6 has manifested high shield performance of 60 dB at a range of 0.1 MHz to 1 GHz, and 70 dB at a range of 0.1 to about 40 MHz.
