PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a pressed article of an used automobile, in which a large amount of pressed articles of a used automobile can be stably used by restraining release of fume for a certain period of time right after charging of a molten iron, reducing the temperature of generating gas, and restraining an amount of smoke when the pressed article of the used automobile is molten, and to provide the pressed article of the used automobile. PSOLUTION: The pressed article 15 of the used automobile 10 is manufactured either by covering up at least a front part 11, ceiling part 12, and rear part 13 of the tireless used automobile 10 with a steel sheet 14 and pressing the used automobile 10 covered by the steel plate 14 into a rectangular solid or cube, or by pressing the tireless used automobile 10 into the rectangular solid or cube and covering up at least the front part 11, ceiling part 12, and rear part 13 with the steel sheet 14.
