PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively enhance state discrimination accuracy of conventional state discrimination of a storage battery for a vehicle for performing a detection process of the storage battery voltage of each mode such as operation, stop and engine start and the like of the vehicle and determining a deterioration state and displaying its result. PSOLUTION: This state discriminating device is provided with a voltage detection means 9 for detecting the battery voltage of the storage battery 2 for the vehicle and a means for detecting a charging and discharging current flowing through the storage battery 2.
