P To provide a cylinder lubricant composition for crosshead diesel engines and which particularly excels in saving of fuel consumption while maintaining excellent HEAT resistance and seizure resistance. PSOLUTION: The lubricant composition comprises a lubricant base oil composed of a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil, (A) a metal based cleaner, (B) an ashless dispersing agent, (C) a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent and optionally at least one of (D) an organic molybdenum compound and (E) zinc dithiophosphate and has a kinematic viscosity at 100° C of ≥ 12.6 mmSP2/SP/s and achieves excellent saving of fuel consumption for crosshead diesel engines.
