PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink composition for ballpoint pens, keeping smooth ink ejection property over a long writing procedure even in such a case that a dye is used as a coloring agent by suppressing abrasion of a ball socket caused by rotation of a ball, and enabling long-term writing without deteriorating initial writing feeling, and to provide a ballpoint pen containing the same.;SOLUTION: The water-based ink composition for ballpoint pens contains a dye, water and at least one condensation product of an N-acyl-L-glutamic acid and L-lysine, or its salt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
