PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely calculate the locus of a mobile unit with little computational complexity.;SOLUTION: A moving locus calculation device includes: a means for storing a plurality of sensor data including observation time and a plurality of observation values obtained by observing an observation area; a means for storing traveling costs from one section of adjacent sections to the other or in the opposite direction for the respective adjacent sections in a plurality of sections, where the observation area is divided; a means for selecting an observation value group at the next time, where the total traveling costs are not more than prescribed costs, as the first to L-th observation value groups from a section including the most recent observation value of the observation value series for each of the first to L-th observation value series identified until the observation time immediately before; a means for generating a plurality of patterns for selecting and allocating the first to L-th mutually different observation values from the first to L-th observation value groups to the first to L-th observation value series; a means of calculating, for each pattern, the total of likelihood to each observation value of the patterns of the first to L-th observation value series; and a means of selecting a pattern of which the total of likelihood is the highest.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
