PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chromatograph capable of cleaning a holding column without affecting an elution time of a sample from the holding column.;SOLUTION: The liquid chromatograph includes the holding column 9 for holding the sample, a first pump 1 for feeding the sample to the holding column 9, using a mobile phase solvent 2, a second pump 10 for eluting the sample held in the holding column 9, using a sample separating solvent 11, a separating column 12 for separating the sample eluted from the holding column 9, and an auto sampler 4, and further includes a control section for switching a liquid to be fed from the first pump 1 from the mobile phase solvent 2 to a cleaning solvent 3 after separating the sample at the separating column 12, and controlling cleaning of the holding column 9.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
