PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor provided with a diffuser wherein operation conditions are relaxed, and the operating range is expanded.;SOLUTION: The centrifugal compressor 3 includes an impeller 5, and a diffuser 12 provided in a manner to surround the impeller. Compressed fluid is discharged by rotation of the impeller, and pressurized by the diffuser. In the diffuser, a stationary vane 16 is provided at a required pitch in the circumferential direction, and the stationary vane 16 is made of a first stationary vane wherein the part including a part adjacent to a throat is cut off, and a second stationary vane for replenishing the cut-off part.
