PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of coated material capable of reducing man-hours and reducing the using amount of energy.;SOLUTION: The production method of the coated material includes: a first coating material applying process S1 of applying an aqueous first coating material to a material to be coated; a second coating material applying process S3 of applying an aqueous second coating material on the material to be coated where the coating film by the first coating material is formed; a flash-off process S4 of half-drying the coating film formed by the second coating material; a clear coating applying process S5 of applying a clear coating material on the coating film formed by the second coating material; and a drying process S6 of performing high temperature drying after forming the three coating films.
