PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a surface-coated silica organosol which is excellent in dispersibility when mixed with an epoxy compound and provides good storage stability such that the resulting epoxy resin composition is not thickened or cured with time.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the surface-coated silica organosol comprises the steps of: (A) adding a silane coupling agent to a silica organosol to perform a hydrolysis condensation reaction; and then (B) removing an acidic substance from the resulting product of (A) to neutralize the pH of the resulting product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
