PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a method of producing glass using a clarifying agent in which the resultant glass does not contain any further component originating in the clarifying agent and no traces of the peroxides are detectable.;SOLUTION: As the clarifying agent, an organic and/or inorganic peroxides are used. As the inorganic peroxide, a composition containing the same cations as the other components of the composition for the production of glass such as hydrogen peroxide, an alkali metal peroxide and an alkaline earth peroxide is used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
