PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape distortion correction support system for a projection image in which shape distortion of the projection image projected from a projector can be highly accurately recognized visually and quantitatively. PSOLUTION: A shape distortion correction support system 1 for a projection image includes: a chart image generating means 12, which generates a chart image for correcting shape distortion of the projection image; a chart image display means 13 for causing a projector 3 to project the chart image generated by the chart image generating means 12; an imaging means 4 for capturing the projection image projected from the projector 3; a sensing image analyzing means 14 for analyzing a sensing image captured by the imaging means 4, to acquire the coordinates of the sensing image; and a blended image display means 15 for displaying, on the projector 3, a blended image, obtained by blending the sensing image analyzed by the sensing image analyzing means 14 and the chart image.
