PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifetime prediction test method of a polymer membrane capable of carrying out in short time evaluation of the lifetime of a polymer membrane, a test device, and a test program. PSOLUTION: An open circuit standing test and a crossover amount measurement are alternately repeated to a unit cell of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell. An integrated amount of fluorine exhausted from the fuel cell is obtained until the crossover amount reaches a prescribed value. An exhaust speed of fluorine exhausted in a power generation test is obtained. Based on the integrated amount of fluorine and the exhaust speed of fluorine, lifetime of the polymer membrane is calculated. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
