PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and effectively use biomass including a large moisture content as a resource and energy or economically dry sludge and facilitate collection/transport. PSOLUTION: At relatively low temperature, natural wind, a low-pressure blower, solar energy and waste heat etc. are effectively used. With respect to a slight difference of temperature and humidity between a dried object and wind, drying is promoted by selection and combination of a large gas-solid contact area, generation of transmission air current in a thin layer and a thin accumulative layer etc. Since the accumulative layer is made thin, the layer shape facilitates solid distribution and discharge and the shape in the vicinity of a wall contributes to enhancement of contact efficiency with a mechanism.
