PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selected and gathered product processing method for supplementing a bound body discharged as a defective product with missing bodies and preventing a good product from being missed in insertion to the defective product to prepare for shipment efficiently.;SOLUTION: A sheet selection and gathering processing device selects a plurality of sheet groups or a sheet group to be gathered or sheets based on gathering conditions set per customer in advance, gathers and packages sheets while conveying them on the predetermined conveyance line sequentially to prepare a set of sheet products per customer, and binds the sets of sheet products per predetermined number of sheet products. The device is provided with a determining means for determining whether the set of sheet products is prepared perfectly in accordance with the gathering conditions or not before binding and processing it, a determination result recording means for recording the results of determination as the information about customer's attributes corresponding to each set of sheet products, a discharging means for discharging a set of defective sheet products being determined that it does not agree with the gathering conditions based on the results of determination out of the conveyance line, and a rewriting means for rewriting the record of the determination result recording means indicating non-agreement of the results of determination with the gathering conditions into the record indicating agreement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
