PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for checking wiring stretched over the plains of a multilayer wiring board that determines whether wiring for improving the electromagnetic noise characteristic of a multilayer printed wiring board is stretched over plain layers of the same or different kinds.;SOLUTION: The system for checking wiring at least includes: a wiring extraction means 11 for extracting wiring to be checked; a plain layer extraction means 12 for extracting a plurality of plain layers located above and/or under the wiring along a direction in which multiple layers of the board are aligned; a projection overlap detection means 13 for detecting the projection overlap between the extracted wiring and plain layers; an attribute judging means 16 for determining whether the plurality of plain layers are the same or different kinds; and a weighting means 17 for weighting separately the wiring stretched over the plain layers of the same kind and the wiring stretched over the plain layers of different kinds.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
